National Park Explorer Packages
Hideaway Cove Wilderness Lodge offers a prime location between two of America’s famed National Parks: Kenai Fjords and Katmai. The Lodge itself is located within the boundaries of the largest coastal state park in America; Kachemak Bay State Park. Our National Park Packages combine exciting excursions into these remote Parks with comfortable evenings spent at one of Alaska’s finest sea-coast lodges.
If your desire is to see and photograph Alaska’s wildlife, then you will enjoy this unique blend of adventures! Katmai National Park is where you can safely view and photograph Brown (grizzly) Bears foraging and fishing for spawning salmon. Kenai Fjords National Park is home to great whale migrations and a place where you can witness immense tidewater glaciers “calving” icebergs into the sea. Kachemak Bay State Park, is a 400,000-acre medley of dazzling scenery, unique wildlife, hidden coves, majestic fjords, dozens of glaciers, and best of all, miles and miles of prime hiking trails!
Our 7-day National Park Package is a complete vacation in itself- with a promise of in-depth explorations, prime wildlife viewing, authentic Alaska lodging, and fantastic hospitality. This seamless adventure package minimizes travel times between destinations. Instead of spending your time moving from lodge to lodge, you can experience it all right here on the Kenai Peninsula. It’s no wonder our location is recommended by Outside Magazine, Lonely Planet, Frommer's, New York Times, and the LA Times.
